Memorial Day
Let’s be worthy of the sacrifices made by our country’s veterans throughout our history…thank you!
Why I love weather...
Another example of why I love weather: It’s almost June and here in NM we have triple digit heat, sun and fires while in MT they have snow, rain and flooding. Amazing!
Holiday Weekend Upon Us
Have a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend everyone…it will be hot and windy for most of it, so be careful of the fire danger. We may have some rainy relief next week! :)
Schwindy schwindy schwindy
Because New Mexico has had far more than its fair share of blustery weather, I’m not going to say that “w” word today. So, prepare for more strong schwind this afternoon, New Mexico…have a great day!
A return to spring
This weekend was a great interruption to our windy spring. We now rejoin your regularly scheduled windy spring weather…already in progress. Have a great day!
Wednesday Weather
Marnin’! :) Enjoy this calm, pretty morning while you can NM! The wind, dust and fire danger will be on the rise, with little to no rain for most of us.
Deja vu all over again
Ahhhh yes…49 degrees and the “wind” is only 3 mph right now. I’m opening the sliding doors for a couple hours while I can. Prepare for another windy day, New Mexico! It won’t be QUITE as windy as it was yesterday, but you’ll still get a day’s worth of vitamins and minerals from all the sand and dust blasting you! Take care!
Downright tropical!
6AM and the humidity has risen to an uncomfortably high 11%. What is this…the tropical rain forest?!? Get that humidity down to 2% where it belongs….NOT! Anyway, prepare for strong wind and extreme fire danger again New Mexico. Take care and have a great day!
How dry IS dry?!?!?
1% humidity in Roswell and 2% humidity in Albuquerque…NOT a typo! Excuse me while I get another glass of water…
Here comes the sun…do do do doo. Here comes the sun, and I say, it’s alright…
The mornings don’t get much more pleasant than this…enjoy it New Mexico! :)
Today’s going to be a really good day…I realized that last night…
Welcome to May in New Mexico!
A big welcome to the month of May…it feels more like the beginning of March! Snow and fog in the northeastern part of the state, canyon wind gusting to 47 mph in Albuquerque! Ahhhh…spring!
